Description

Graphiurus MOTU22 (sensu Onditi et al. 2026)

This lineage is distributed across the middle elevations in central and western Ethiopia and northern Kenya. It possibly represents a single-species complex together with G. MOTU23 and G. MOTU24 (cf. microtis), a monophyletic clade widespread across the Eastern Afromontane Biodiversity Hotspot, corresponding with G. sp. C in Bryja et al. 2019 (see Onditi et al. 2026 for more details).
