Description
Graphiurus MOTU12 (sensu Onditi et al. 2026)
This strongly supported lineage includes G. sp. A and G. sp. B (sensu Bryja et al. 2019), with broad distribution in the Sudanian savanna. In Ethiopia, they were found in middle elevations across the Ethiopian Highlands. It possibly represents G. kelleni (Reuvens, 1890), described from southwestern Angola, but the notable sampling gap between the type locality and the distribution range of this species makes it hard to confidently assign the name without further taxonomic work (Onditi et al. 2026).
