Graphiurus MOTU8 (sensu Onditi et al. 2026)
Unlike other Ethiopian Graphiurus, this lineage (corresponding to G. sp D in Bryja et al 2022, not included in Bryja et al. 2019) is distributed in dry lowland habitats of the Somali-Masai savanna, with known area spanning from the western boundary of the Afar triangle (Dire-Dawa) to Kenya-Tanzanian border.
